2FA (Two Factor Authentication) or Two Step Verification security method secures your social media Facebook account from all sorts of security breaches occurring over the internet. Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account using email or phone and password.

Step 5: A pop-up box ‘What are Login Approvals?’ opens. Click on Get Started.
Step 6: You will be asked for a phone number. A confirmation code will be sent via SMS to this number. Enter this confirmation code, and click on Continue.
Step 7: A pop-up box ‘Login Approvals Setup Is Complete’ opens, click on Close.
